Northern Hospital:

As the Injury Prevention / No Lift Coordinator at the Northern Hospital, I have known Paul McKay professionally more many years. He has represented a number of companies, but has always provided an excellent service. The Hospital purchased a number of Jumbuck Lifting Hoists, which are still performing very well after 8 years of use, weighing scales and other equipment from the companies he has represented. Any issue raised have always being explored and improvements made. For example, initially the Jumbuck hoist was not able to raise a patient high enough if an air mattress had been placed on top of a normal mattress. After discussions with Paul, the company altered its design resolving the problem. Over recent years, Paul has also worked closely with us and many others, in order to develop better equipment that assists health care workers in providing safe care for our bariatric patients.

Paul still regularly visits the hospital to provide staff education when requested, to assist with any maintenance issues we might have and to discuss new ideas and products. I have always enjoyed dealing with Paul as I know that he provides the best service possible.

When establishing our new services in Drouin, we were fortunate to have worked with Paul McKay in establishing trials of equipment such as our range of mechanical lifting devices, Hi / Low Bath, and Fallout Chairs.

Paul was attentive to our needs and personally arranged for equipment to be delivered on site and provided staff with appropriate education to ensure the optimal use.
